Description •This building is considered to be Huntsville's first high-rise building.
• The Huntsville Times occupied this building until they outgrew it and moved in 1956.
• Originally only suppossed to have 11 floors, when it was announced that the Hotel Russell Erskine would be 12 floors, a floor was added to the Times building during construction. Because of this, the elevator only reaches the 11th floor.
