- Before the building was completed in 1994, the Calvin C. Goode Municipal Building was the City Hall.

- The total cost of the project was $83,000,000, which not only included the city hall tower but a parking garage, the 2nd Avenue Plaza, the renovation of Calvin C. Goode Municipal Building (old City Hall), and thermal storage system/central plant for six city-owned buildings.
