- Developer: Southland Corporation
- The Cityplace Center is the tallest building in Dallas outside of downtown.
- Originally the Cityplace Center plan called for Two 42 Story Towers, both where to be connected by a skybridge over the Central Expressway acompanied by 6 lowrise buildings. Due to the collapse of the energy market in the 1980's, the Southland Corporation's fortunes declined, plans would eventually all be cancelled and 1 out of the 8 buildings would be constructed.
- Located in the Uptown neighborhood, the most densely populated area in Dallas, with 22,000 persons per square mile.
