- The Eastern Columbia Building is Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument #294.
- In 2006 the Eastern Columbia Building was converted into 147 Lofts and renamed to the Eastern Columbia Lofts.
- The lofts provide excellent views of Downtown Los Angeles, South Park and the Historical District.
