Description
- Architect: Edward Larrabee Barnes Associates

- The AXA Center is Headquarters for AXA Financial which consists of many subsidiaries of french-based AXA such as AXA Equitable Life Insurance and Mutual of New York.

- Pedestrian traffic moves through this tower (via an arched galleria at 7th Avenue), across the open mall (between West 51st and 52nd Streets), and into the Old Equitable Tower. The arch form is repeated in the top of the building's east and west sides, while recesses and setbacks accentuate it's height along the north and south faces.

- The atrium includes a mural by Roy Lichtenstein named Mural with Blue Brushstroke, painted in 1986.
