• Once the former laboratory building for the General Motors Corporation, the Argonaut is currently undergoing a renovation to transform it into an educational facility and dormitory for the College of Creative Studies. The renovation began by The College for Creative Studies of Detroit in May 2008, and is scheduled to be completed by the Fall of 2009, a renovation thought by Orton Development of California for mixed-used starting in the spring of 2006, but due to the economy the plan was postponed.
