Description
Architects: John Pearson and J. Omer Marchand
The original Parliament Buildings were destroyed in a fire in 1916, so a new one was built. The only remaining part of the original building is the Parliament Library.
In 1952, an electrical short in the National Library started a fire. It was restored.
