Description Architect: Ayres & Ayers
- The eight-sided building - completed as the Smith-Young Tower - stood at the tallest high-rise in the city from its completion until 1988.
- A 164-foot television transmission tower was added to the building in 1953. The transmission tower was dismantled in 2010, the roof was reconstructed and a 100-foot flagpole was put in its place.
