Description • Architect: Stubbins Associates
• The building was originally supposed to be much taller but the city rejected the design since it would have not fit in well with the rest of the skyline. Today the spire rises to the the intended height of the building.
• The decorative pyramid atop the building serves as a mechanical penthouse for the building's cooling towers and elevator machine room.
• The building has 3 underground levels for parking, 2 floors for the Fifth Avenue Place Arcade Shops, and 29 floors dedicated to office space.
