Description Developer: Universal Auto Company
Built as an office building and parking garage. A specially designed elevator on the western end of the building lifted cars from street level to the upper parking floors above the office building. The four parking garage levels were converted to office space for the growing bank when cars became too heavy for the elevator in the late 1930's. Demolished for NCNB's outdoor Plaza and fountain in 1973, after construction of their new office building was completed.
