The First tower of the Sahara Hotel & Casino, when it opened in 1959 it was called the Sahara Tower.

The Standard rooms of the Sahara are located in the Tunis Tower. Each room is equipped with central heating and cooling.

The The Tunis Tower had a time and tempature sign on top of the tower from 1959 - 1963 when the 24 story Alexandria Tower was added in 1963, the sign was added to the top of the Alexandria Tower, today the sign no longer exists.
