Description
Due to limited space, Japan incinerates much of its garbage, and has more incinerators than any other country in the world. The plant in Toshima Ward has the world's tallest incinerator chimmney. On May 9, 2000, four Greenpeace activists climbed to the top roof to unfurl an anti-incinerator banner.
