Description Architect: Edwin Green, Lawrie & Green Architects
History:
Impressive Art Deco styled public building of its period, 1942, with interior marble-clad spaces and huge terrazzo floor, inlayed map of Dauphin County in front lobby. Graced with front fountain pool and statue of “Youth Crushing Evil.” Building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
