Description
Architects: Mario Pani Darqui / Ricardo de Robina
Development: The Federal Government through the Banco Nacional de Obras y Servicios Publicos (BANOBRAS)
Main Constructor: Ingenieros Civiles Asociados (ICA)
Analysis of stability and structural safety on 2011: Hoyu Mexicana, S.A. de C.V.

-Complex of 3 adjacent buildings with 15 floors (Main, 13 residential, services, mechanical) The original modern facade was covered with marcolite panels replaced on the renovation of 1980, a couple years later was reinforced into their foundations but was damaged on 85's earthquakes, on 1989 was reinforced for stabilization purposes with a big new structure.

-The elevators only open every three floors (3,6,9,12).

-This building was site of the infamous attach of October 2nd of 1968, from this building came the shots to citizens & the army.

Info Warning: the source of building's heights says current are 39.9 meters tall, but that info is impossible for 15-16 floors (each level had at least 2.4m. free height but each retircular floor is at least 0.4 m. thick), main floor had more than 4.00 meters free height, and the height of machinery rooms at top makes impossible to consider precise his data.
