Description - The complex was built as the world headquarters for ABN/AMRO Bank. The building became the Dutch headquarters for Fortis and Royal Bank of Scotland after this consortium acquired ABN/AMRO in 2007. After the Netherlands nationalized Fortis during the financial crisis in fall 2008 ABN/AMRO Bank became disconnected from Fortis
