- Originally designed as residential building, Torre Puebla appartment by appartment was converted to the second building of Hotel Suites Tecpan (1966), the original facade was covered with marcolite panels and "Venetian" mosaics that was completely replaced on the renovation of 1972. Some years later was reinforced into their foundations with dozens of new piles, but in 1979 & 1985 earthquakes makes some damages on the lower levels, but tower was considered safe, in the process of repair of the other buildings of the complex was occupied as residential building again, finally was considered by the Government into a program for repair , but when the money of the Fideicommissum ends and the pressure of the press & other public adversity makes to Government to decide the demolition.
