- The original facade was covered with marcolite panels and "Venetian" mosaics, was completely replaced on the renovation of 1972. Was reinforced into their foundations on the 80's with dozens of new piles, but the 1979 & 1985 earthquakes makes damages on the highest levels, a program for repair was considered by the Government, but when the money of the Fideicommissum ends increased by the pressure of the press & other public adversity makes to the Government to decide the demolition.
