Description - The Centre City Building when originally built was about 210 ft. tall. The upper floors (15-21) were added on in later years.
- The building is rumored to have a wooden subframe. This has not been verified, but if found to be true, the Centre City Building would be the tallest wooden-framed building in the world.
- The original 14-story portion was completed in 1904 as the United Brethren Building. The tower was added later in 1927.
