Description - Design architect: Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, Roger Saubot, Francois Jullien
- The architects of the Tour Areva were inspired by the the famous black monolith of Stanley Kubrick's "2001: a Space Odyssey".
- Tour Areva is is one of La Defense's "second generation" towers: much larger than the "first generation" buildings.
