Description
Announced in Spring 2003, this proposal would include up to fourteen 20-story residential and office buildings on a 46-acre site south of Greenfield Avenue, east of First Street, and north of the Kinnickinnic River.

In anticipation of the project and in compliance of an EPA madnate to clean the site, many of the historic industrial buildings on the site were razed. The site was formerly home of the Solvay Coke and Gas company. It was speculated that the machine house of the complex was the largest collection of steam powered industrial machinery in the world. It was demolished in July/August of 2004. The demolition work was executed so not to dmage the steam engines.
