• This was a storage Frigorifique building in port before. After a fire in 1991, the building was complete renewed on 1993 with exterior elevator and glass dome atop added to make place the today retirement.

• The demolition of the former union-chill house in Neumühlen was decided long ago when flames mighty blazed on the night of 22.March.1991 on the roof of the cube building. When the fire brigade came along to the work, the pump pressure turned out too weak, the water did not reach the flames. Ten firefighters penetrated on the roof and would not almost have returned. The flames had eaten through the isolation of the walls in deeper floors and threatened to cut off the way back to the men. In the last second the escape succeeded. In the whole night was pumped water only in the eastern side due poor openings and its position on river margin. Later steel demolition pears sealed the destiny of the box established in 1926 on 600 pillars. Here untill 1993 nothing was made till the time the residential Collegium Augustinum has been developed.

• This is the most famous retirement appartment house for old people in the city. At top, the breathtaken view from restaurant Elbwarte inside the Dome is a singular experience for shipping spotting, reached by an outside elevator upto 11 floor. Beauty saloons and healthy theraphy are together the resthouse service here included.
