• 340 on the Park was breifly the tallest all-residential building in Chicago, it was later surpassed by One Museum Park later in 2007.

• A two and a half story wintergarden is housed in the 25th floor.

• 340 on the Park is Chicago's first residential tower to meet the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED certification standards.
