Description The Downtown by Philippe Starck used to be the Equitable Trust Company Building untill late 2005 when it was converted to a Luxurious Residential Tower.
A rooftop garden and pool sits on top of the five story 23 Wall Street that is connected to the Tower. The Gardens and pool look over Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange.
The Tower was almost demolished in 2001 for the 50 Story New York Stock Exchange Tower, which was cancelled in 2001 due to the 9/11 attacks and Financial Problems.
