Description • Two wooden lattice towers placed 240 metres apart used to carry the T-antenna of the first antenna of Ismaning transmitter. As this antenna produced much skywave resulting in spite of its high power in a small fading-free reception area, this antenna was replaced in 1934 by an antenna with skywave-surpression. For this one of the towers was dismantled and rebuilt on a wooden substructure remembering to the lower parts of Eiffel Tower. While this work was done, a L-antenna was used for broadcasting, which was spun between the other tower and a small auxiliary tower. After completion of this work this tower was dismantled and rebuilt in 1935 in Nuremburg.
