• The Key Tower became the tallest building in the city of Cleveland and the state of Ohio upon its completion.
• During the fall of 2005, four KeyCorp logo signs were added to the upper reaches of the building's facade. According to a KeyCorp press release, the signs are located 765 feet (233 metres) above the ground, measure 15 feet (4.5 metres) by 32.5 feet (10 metres), and each sign weighs 1500 pounds.
