Description The present Temple of Wong Tai Sin was built in Kowloon in 1921. It was private and only open to members of Sik Sik Yuen until 1956, when they were given permission to register as a charity and open the gardens and temple to the public. The main alter was rebuilt into its present larger version in 1973.
