Description • Architect: Emiel van Averbeke.

• Tallest Building in Belgium at time of completion. It was surpassed by the Centre Internatial Rogier (Brussels) in 1960. Often considered as the first real skyscraper in Europe.
• In 1954 the tower was extended with an antenna which reached to a total height of 112,5 meters.
