Description
• The original castle was built in 1598-1619; it has been damaged many times. It was damaged in the Deluge of 1655-1657, and repaired several times in the 17th and 18th century. The castle was almost totally destroyed by German forces in World War II. The structure that stands today was built in 1971-1984.
