Description • The dream for this complex was to build the largest hospital in Latin America. But the overthrow of the government of Juan Domingo Perón by a military coup in 1955 ended those dreams.
• In July 2017, the Government of the City of Buenos Aires announced that the building will be demolished to build the Ministry of Human Development and Habitat Building. Demolition finished on October 22nd, of 2018.
