Description Humbard's Tower was planned as 228.6 metres ( 750 ft) tall TV tower with rotating restaurant similiar to Calgary Tower by Rex Humbard at his Cathedral of Tomorrow complex. On September 10th, 1971 construction work started, but were stopped in November 1971 when the tower had reached a height of 151 metres ( 494 ft) after some lawsuits by neighbours and for financial reasons. Although in 1973 Humbard announced scaled-back plans to house a museum, library and prayer centre in the tower, construction work was not resumed.
In the 1989, the tower was sold for $30,000 to the local grocer Dave Krieger and is now used by several cell phone companies.
