The building was reconstructed as the Stark Tower after Stark Industries had bought Metlife Building, https://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=1465, and repaired it as the headquarters of Avengers in 2014. After they've moved to the new base, Stark Industries sold the building in 2024.
