Description
Construction began in 1998 on a 238 meter design but was then put on-hold in 1999. Construction resumed in 2004 on a 289 meter design but was again put on-hold in 2005. Construction resumed again in 2008 with yet another design to finally complete the building.
At least four different designs were published for this building.
- A 238 meter design with three indented garden levels along the tower, an octagonal floorplate and a large, four part spire/antenna structure.
- A 289 meter design with a square floorplate and an inverted cone-shaped feature at the top.
- A 330 meter design with the top tapering to a point with a spire.
- A ~300 meter design with a helipad on the roof.
