Architect: Ernest Flagg

• The Singer Building was the tallest building in the World from 1908—1909.
• It was demolished in 1968, along with the neighbouring City Investing Building http://www.skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=10245 to make way for One Liberty Plaza http://www.skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=2376
• To demolish the building, the structure was jackhammered, and dumped down the elevator shaft.
• World's tallest building demolished before 2001.
