Description
Architect: Ernest Flagg

The Singer Building was the tallest building in the World from 1908-1909.

It was demolished in 1968, along with the neighbouring City Investing Building http://www.skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=10245 to make way for One Liberty Plaza http://www.skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=2376

To demolish the building, the structure was jackhammered, and dumped down the elevator shaft.
