• Originally, a slope of 54° (54°27'44") was used, 47 meters up in construction the excessive weight of this mass of stone on the interior burial chamber's roof led to a design change. The rest of the pyramid sloped up at 43 degrees (42°22). It would have been 133 metres tall without the angle change.
